Why not bring my bird on the shoulder or arm?
I have a small parrot. We know you have been abused by previous owners and guests in our home will give you a hard time, but other than that we have shown love and affection. He will take food from our hands, let pet, and even has flown and landed on my head once or twice, but still not let it sit on the arm or shoulder. It is very gentle, who spends most of his time in a special rack made at the top of the cage and flies only short distances to stretch their wings. He lives in my room, so used to me and I'm your best friend in the house, but my problem remains. I would love to put on my arm soon, because I'm leaving soon for college and seldom be home during the summer. Can anyone help?

Bird determine the social status, which is the higher, a bird close to your eye level can become aggressive when compared with the hand or forearm, because they are near their height.
