The birds of the parrot type birds?
the loudest noise? and are the quietest thsome type (I know they are all noisy reliativly) Im thinking of those who, like macaws, cockatoos, parrots, and are stronger ... and parakeets ... I'm not sure that others are more relaxed in comparison? someone who has experience with different please let me know. I love the sound of parrots, but my husband not so much, thank you:) knicks54 parrots who said they were silent? read again:)
Parrots are one of the quieter birds. I recently got a parakeet and a large part of the attraction is that they are almost unable to scream as loud as many other birds. My former roommate had a budgie, and he yelled so loud, the sound goes out the window and into mine, and see through walls. I will say that my parakeet can get a little chattery, especially when it wants attention, and have a little noisy from time to time, but most the time it is quiet and squeak just talk - never shouting or screaming. I live in the apartments, so a noisy bird would be a problem, but is quieter than Most birds that I hear outside. I did a lot of research on birds before choosing one, and I definitely recommend a parakeet. They are playful, social, intelligent, small, cute as hell, quiet and relatively easy to care - and you can learn to talk. The only important thing to consider is that although high-need and interaction. They are considered a part of the family and demand to be treated as such.
