Is this ad for a African grey parrot a scam?
I was looking at this ad, and it seemed perfect for me. Nearby, great price, nice sounding bird, etc. I realize it is amazingly cheap but I figured it was because of the economy and she said she has to move, so I assumed she needs a quick sale. BUT, right when I started to get excited I noticed that in one picture, the bird resembles a Timneh Grey, because it has a pale upper mandible, and in another picture it resembles a Congo grey, because its upper mandible is solid black.
Is it possible for the color to change? I hope it is not a scam.

If the person cannot meet you in person to give you the bird and only wants to ship, then I would consider it a scam. I would only buy this bird if I could pick up in person. It does sound too cheap but you never know and its worth emailing to find out. Good Luck.
